Fire...

Hey all,

These are photos of a fire I took in yesterday. I was at our firehouse when I heard the call get dispatched. I walked into the watchroom to listen and heard the EMS unit dispatched reporting heavy smoke showing from a mile out and arrived with heavy fire from the corner of the house. So I headed out with the camera. I arrived within 10 minutes of the call dispatched and this is what it looked it.

Vintage and Modern....

Fire Apparatus that is. If I had a place to store it, I would own this mack from Rothsville. For a 1959, it is in great shape.

Kinzer Fire Company Engine 4-5-2, I believe it is a 2007 Pierce all wheel drive engine

The cutest little boy in the world. Yes I'm biased...

Another one of my favorite macks. The Lampeter Fire Company Engine 5-4-3, a 1969 CF Mack. This engine did service with a fire company in Delaware County, however for the life of me I cannot remember who it was. This engine used to be white at one time.

Bailing out the window..

Future of the fire service...

Hey Everyone,

Hope you had a good weekend. I got to go out and do a little photographing. Not alot but a little. Today's photos were taken down at the old LANCO Fire School. I was asked to come down and photograph RIT training that a mutual aid department was doing, so I loaded up Wyatt and away we went.


The first photo is Wyatt yelling out the cab of the engine. If he could talk, I bet he would be saying the engine is for a bunch of wimps and the truck is where it's at. Right Bradley??(If your not a fireman, I'll explain later what that means)



The second photo is Wyatt standing along side of Lancaster Township Engine 6-6-2. Just hanging out looking around.

The third photo is of a old friend, Chief Ron Comfort. Wyatt kept wanting to climb the ladder, so the Chief helped him up a few rungs teaching him the basics..


Like I said, the future of the fire service...

Rescue Goes....

Hey Everyone,

These photos were taken yesterday. The Rescue was alerted on a crash with reported entrapment, upon FD arrival, patient was actually confined in the vehicle. Fortunatley, no serious injuries. Ford Focus vs a Full Size Chevy Suburban....
