2009 Pa Pump Primers Muster

Hello everyone,

Since my buddy Brad Myers was unable to attend the annual event this year in Harrisburg where he is very well known, He said he was looking forward to seeing some photos so today's post is just for him. The PPP is a annual muster of antique fire apparatus that parades through the city and then along Riverfront Park where they demonstrate what they can do. It is a good time and you see alot of old friends that you normally don't get to see.

Brad, You would be proud of Wyatt. It was his first PPP and I also brought along a coworkers son. He wanted to ride up in Tower 1. Wyatt then started pointing at the platform saying up,up. I said are you sure? he nodded his head yes and smiled. We got in the platform and he laughed and smiled the entire time. He did not scream or cry once.

Woody, great shots of the fire trucks and very cool for the kids. I am a bit jealous. I never have been on a fire truck.
Cheers

Those are some great photos! I admire the strength and courage it takes to do that kind of work.

Thanks Woody, and I am glad Wyatt went towards the ladder trucks and not engines. I see you got a photo of our new fire destroyer, with three boats we now have a marine division, LOL. I noticed most of the photos were Macks, but you know I am partial to Ward LaFrances.
