Skywatch...

Happy Skywatch Friday!!

These photos were taken Tuesday morning. I had woke up when I heard a dispatch for a working barn fire about 10 to 12 miles from my residence. My wife and son had already left for the day so I decided to run up with the camera. These photos are of the smoke in the sky from that fire. These were taken when I was about a mile from my house..

Exciting photos and your blog's top photo is awsome. Are you a fireman?

Very exciting. I took a shot of a fire plume from a plane. Smoke does amazing things in the sky.

Smoke can be so pretty but I do hope there was very little damage!

I love skywatching while on a moving vehicle too.

Smoke make for interesting photos, but what a tragedy tor the farmers to have the barn burn down with the loss of fodder that that entails since summer is over.

Smoke in the sky, that is always a scary sight. My husband's family lost a large dairy barn when he was young. The memory is still with him.

It's always sad and hard when the things you work for go up in flames.

That must have been a huge fire to put out a plume of smoke like that.
