The watchroom...

Hey Everyone,

This is a photo of the watchroom or the watch area at the quarters of E45 and L14 in Philadelphia. This is one of the most important areas of the firehouse. A member is required to sit here and turn out the companies as alarms are received, answer the phone and deal with citizens that may happen to stroll into the firehouse looking for assistance.

Both companies were out on a run at this particular moment the photo was taken.

Have a great day!

Woody, I checked out the link to the below fire you sent me. It looks like you have been busy lately catching runs.

I even caught a job yesterday with the camera.

You have a way of making a cluttered mundane work area pop with interesting color and shapes.. causing people to enlarge, stop, and stare at its true beauty!

Woody,
I hope that you kept their scorecard for the baseball game up to date until they got back.
