Skywatch...

Hey All,

Happy SWF!!

Sorry I was not prepared this week for a photo, so I had to yank one from the archives and I hope you guys like this one.

This photo was taken two years ago at a massive fire in Lebanon County. When I say massive, I could see the smoke from my house In Millersville and it's about 25 miles from my house to where this fire was at. The size of this building was 14 acres in itself. If that gives you any idea..

This photo is of a Dauphin County Tower Ladder flowing water on the backside of the building. I thought it would fit as all you have is the smoke, some clouds and the platform..

Hope you enjoy the day and Please check out the other great SWF sites at the link listed to the left!

Have a great day!

Woody

Looks like the firefighters didnt have much of a chance to put it out. Its huge.

Terrell is about 30 miles east of Dallas.

I like it Woody, it fits perfectly. I don't get much chance to get out and get something new these days myself.

That is a dramatic photo, I'm glad you explained as it looked like there were three guys nailed to the gable of a roof.

That's a powerful photo. Amazing! We dealt with large fires a couple of years ago. Smoke from 60 miles away inundated us. Amazing.

Whoa! That is quite the blaze! It's amazing that you could see the smoke from so far away...

That is a big fire. My husband has been a volunteer for 25 years and is taking an EMT course as we speak. Thanks for all you do for your community...

Most spectacular stuff. Those fire fighters sure are staring at the mouth of a real danger. There is nothing wrong with getting something from the archives.
